Powerlifting superstar Ed Coan told IronMind today, "I'm going over 2500," at this year's Mountaineer Cup.

"I'm pretty healthy now," said Coan.  "I will bench over 600, I will squat about 1050 this year, I'm pretty sure," Coan said.

Throw in a typically-huge Coan deadlift, and the total goes into nosebleed territory.

This year's Mountaineer Cup, once again promoted by Nick Busick, is scheduled for the end of June at the Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort in Chester, West Virginia.
