Ed Coan says he will go after the historic 2,500-pound powerlifting total again in June. Coan's bid to hit this huge number was recently derailed when his opening squat was misloaded 40 kg over the called-for weight. Coan will reattack this goal at the 2000 Mountaineer Cup/USPF Senior Nationals at the end of June.
