Setting the stage for red hot performances at the 2016 APL Armlifting World Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia last weekend, Dmitriy Suhovarov broke the world record on the Captains of Crush (CoC) Silver Bullet, one of the grip strength world’s premier events.

Suhovarov is 28 years old, weighs 100 kg (220 lb.) and is 173 cm (5’ 8”) tall—among his other accomplishments, he is a black belt in karate.
