Chigishev Rules the 105s . . .

TRENCIN, Slovakia - Evgeny Chigishev (RUS) put together 195/227.5 to win the gold medal in the total in the 105-kg category at the European Weightlifting Championships today. Szymon Kolecki (POL), lifting in obvious pain, gutted out a 232.5 kg jerk for a 412.5 total and the silver medal, edging Zoltan Kovacs (HUN) on bodyweight.
