He teaches high school chemistry and physical education, is an avid rock climber and boulderer, and his credentials in the grip strength world include being certified on both the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper and on the Red Nail—now, Carl-August Mertz can add another major accomplishment to his resume as he’s just been certified on the Crushed-To-Dust! Challenge, proof of his all-around grip excellence.
