This year's British Iron Grip Championships promises to be the best yet, with the list of competitors including David Horne, Michael Daly, Steve Gardner and, hopefully, Nick McKinless all of whom have officially closed the No. 3 Captains of Crush® gripper.

"The Novice section is growing rapidly, with more newcomers all the time. The new blood of the sport seems raring to go," said David Horne.

Horne has long been a key player in the grip world—as a competitor, contest organizer, historian and author/publisher.

The British Iron Grip Championships will be held on July 28th in Stafford, England; the deadline for entries is July 7th.
