The 2000 edition of the Beauty & The Beast Strongman Challenge is offering a first place prize of US$10,000 it was announced today. The contest will be completely open, and everyone is invited--IFSA, AFSA, NASS, NSAA, etc. The first four events will qualify competitors for the finals, which will be six events. In addition to the individual places and awards, state or regional teams may enter, with a winner-take-all team prize coming from the $250/team entry fee. The competition is scheduled for May 27th and 28th, in Hawaii. This contest is building on its past success, and is already scheduled to be shown on ESPN, and top placing competitors will be invited to the Czech Grand Prix on August 12th.
