“Armlifting Finland (WHEA) is proud to announce, that in 2020 our Finnish Grip Nationals will be held as a part of ‘Nationals Week,’ which is a multi-sport event organized by the Finnish Olympic Committee,” Jyrki Rantanen told IronMind.
“In a 4-day event, there are over 20 different sports and over 2000 athletes fighting for national titles in their sports. The happening has also nearly 20 hours of coverage on national TV channels.
”We are really happy, that our long-term work is taking the events we represent forward and the there is more recognition as sports for our niche events. Our contest will be held in one day and the other three days we will be present there, naturally introducing grip events to the athletes and spectators from other sports.”
