Anonymous Survey on PEDs

“I'm working with a couple of scientists and we've developed an anonymous online survey for athletes who use performance-enhancing drugs and other pharmaceuticals,” Thomas W. Lowder, PhD, who is an assistant professor of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Central Arkansas, told IronMind.
“We are IRB-approved to use any online venues (we have a few who have agreed to put the survey link up for us).
“The way it is set up, we use QualTrics, which is a survey service. I have no way to see anything about who answers, I don't receive in IP address, location, anything, only the responses which are sent to me as raw data. I've also signed my name as a researcher and faculty member, so even if I could find out anything about the people answering the survey I would be fired if I were to do anything with the information. I take confidentiality seriously, and want to make sure anyone who might take the survey understands this.
“This is the link for the survey. https://ucachbs.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9N4Y8ZorsCAmocd
“We're going to submit this as a journal article (not quite sure where just yet, possibly International Journal of Sports Medicine or somewhere similar),” Dr. Lowder said.
