“My main activity is Rolling Thunder and isometric exercises. I have worked methodically with Rolling Thunder and my aim is to break the worldc record of Mark Felix. This Spring I started to work also with grippers, and succeeded in closing CoC 3. My next plan is to close CoC No. 3.5 and to break the current world record on Apollon’s Axle,” Tyukalov told IronMind.
Talk about an impressive set of grip-strength goals and IronMind is proud to announce that Alexey Tyukalov is well on his way to proving himself: Congratulations, Alexey—you have joined the elite and your name has been added to the official certification list for the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper.
IronMind would like to thank our Russian colleague Oleg Chernov for his invaluable assistance, serving as Alexey Tyukalov’s referee on Alexey’s official attempt to close the CoC No. 3 gripper—without Oleg’s help, IronMind would not have been able to recognize Alexey’s accomplishment.
