“A great weekend of competitions wrapped up in Phoenix Arizona with the 16th Women's World Championships of the Scottish Heavy events and there was a very close competition right up to the final event, weight over the bar,” Caledonian Society of Arizona Athletic Director Ryan Seckman reported to IronMind, as Adriane Blewitt defended her Highland Games World Championships title.

“The weather was improved over last year and we were able to complete every event and all of them were very competitive and the crowd loved every minute of the action.”
