"American Strongman contests are spreading from coast to coast, giving athletes more opportunities to compete than in any previous year," Wessels said. "The addition of large festivals and several arena shows booked by Rich Baker, LLC will also provide fans with more opportunities to see American Strongman 'Live' than ever before."

Wessels has been instrumental in building NAS (North American Strongman) into the dominant North American federation for amateur strongman and she might be poised to make a similar move for professional strongman via ASC.

"The ASC contest calendar will be deep with many impressive venues in the country," said Wessels.
