Speaking about the 2020 APL Armlifting World Championship, Dmitriy Suhovarov told IronMind, “This is a very important competition for us: 5 years of APL and 10 years of armlifting growing."

“The first championships in Russia and other countries were started in 2010—the year we started organizing and named the grip strength competitions armlifting, and start our development of it.

“This is a first, maybe small, but very important jubilee. This is a holiday. This is our b-day. Not my or our organization...this is a birthday of each athlete, each enthusiast, everyone who’s staying with us.


“Accordingly, we are preparing a big show, with lot of surprises...let’s do three beautiful days of incredible armlifting competition and international friendship party!,” Suhovarov said.
