In a press conference featuring the mayor of Charleston, West Virginia, the 2008 World's Strongest Man Contest was officially announced today.

Contest dates are September 6 - 14, and event locations will feature a combination of urban yet scenic settings, 2006 World's Strongest Man winner Phil Pfister told IronMind® today.
