The 2002 edition of the Beauty and Beast strongman contest is set for June 8th, and will feature defending World's Strongest Man winner Svend Karlsen, along with other top competitors.

Janne Virtanen, Hugo Girard, Martin Muhr, Wout Zijlstra, Phil Pfister, Karl Gillingham, Brian Schoonveld, Jesse Marunde, Grant Higa and Odd Haugen are also scheduled to compete, making this a top-drawer event.

This year's contest is part of the IFSA World Strongman Super Series, and will be held at Hawaii's Ko Olina resort.
