Fresh from winning a Harley a couple of weeks ago, John Brzenk cruised through the competition at the 2000 National Pro-Am Armwrestling Championships yesterday. Hosted by the Tahoe Biltmore, in Crystal Bay, Nevada, the USWA/USAA event drew top competitors from across the country. Men's right hand winners were, 132: Dobbs Presley; 154: Gene Dunn; 176: Kenny Hughes; 198: Brian Brandon; 242: John Brzenk; Supers: John Brzenk; Overall: John Brzenk.
Two weeks ago, John Brzenk had won a 2000 Harley Davidson Sportster at the "Best of the Midwest" armwrestling contest in Montpelier, Ohio, not that he's a stranger to winning impressive vehicles in armwrestling contests. John's prize for winning the 1986 "Over The Top" competition was a new Volvo 18-wheeler, which was then used in the movie, "Over The Top," before he took possession.
