The news was riveting and delivered by none other than four-time World’s Strongest Man winner Magnus Ver Magnusson:  “Hey Randall - Guess what,  Hafþór just won the comp!!!”

“Benedikt second !!!!!!!!!!,” Magnus Ver Magnusson’s message continued, as he relayed the big upset from yesterday's Strongest Man in Iceland contest.

So there you have it, from Magnus Ver Magnusson himself,  confirms both Magnus Ver’s status as a strongman talent scout and Hafthor Julius Bjornsson’s status as a strongman on the rise.
