Two-Way Sets – Captains of Crush Grippers and Expand-Your-Hand Bands

Captains of Crush: Engineering to last: built like a tank. Satisfying “click” upon compression. Not your hand grip of years ago. Order heavier weight than you think: I could have gone heavier than this initial resistance level [CoC Guide].

Great for the gym but maybe not the couch. CoCs are the gold standard, and the first three levels, Guide, Sport, or Trainer will suit 80% of your average sports or training minded population. The remaining 19% are approaching amateur competition levels or rock climbing, using the next one or two levels, CoC No. 1 to CoC No. 2 and its intermediates. Anything above CoC No. 2 is for the hardcore power athlete. I am talking strongman, powerlifters, or the guy who wants to be certified on the CoC No. 3 or the hardest of the hardcore, CoC No. 4. According to one testimony, there was a 20-year gap from one certified No. 4 to the next: it took this person 7 years to train to that level! IronMind took the toy gripper to a noteworthy training piece and made a living on it. [CoCs are] beautifully crafted, solidly built workout equipment. I like the calibrated spring and diamond knurled aluminum handles. Unfortunately, it is pricey and noisy. These babies are great for a gym among clack and clatter of weights and grunts and huff. I love using this but my spouse looks at me funny when I squeeze them, even my cats make faces! I honestly love it, and I love that it is American made.

Captains of Crush grippers and Expand-Your-Hand Bands are built so that you can use them to train your grip and the muscles used to open your hand; they do precisely that and with no fanfare. The products are robust and with proper care, should last you years.

Great gift. My boyfriend has really been wanting to increase his grip strength, and he absolutely loves these [CoC No. 1 and Expand-Your-Hand Bands]! Great quality and serves its purpose.

The CoC No. 1 gripper is a high-quality grip strength trainer. If you have been working on your hands for a while, it is an excellent place to start with CoC products. The Expand-Your-Hand Bands are easy to incorporate into your routine and great for providing resistance to your finger extension. I can see how these bands could be useful in physical therapy. The 5 different bands allow you to easily control the amount of resistance. These things are really versatile and can be used for a wide range of exercises. Great stuff!

Ref CoC No. 1.5: If you’re coming off the No. 1 and going to the No. 2, this is a good pit stop. OG grippers of the game.

- via Amazon.com

»

The CoC No. 1.5 and Expand-Your-Hand Bands: good starter difficulty. I first bought the CoC No. 2 gripper and I am able to get it on a good day. However, to get a stronger grip I need an easier gripper so I can get more reps and sets in. If you have an animal I would keep them away from the Expand-Your-Hand Bands—they like to munch on them.

Left-Turn Gripper

»

Left-Turn 2 (195 lb.) is a work in progress. I stopped using the CoC grippers almost 4 years ago and at that time I was able to close the No. 2.5, but my left hand was struggling to close the No. 2. So I bought these and so far I have not noticed too much difference from the [CoCs]. What I did notice is that Left-Turns did fit better in my left hand, but only a little. So far I like them, and CoCs always get 5 stars for their outstanding quality.

- A. W., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn 1 (140 lb.): Left hand gripper for the win. I had an injury to my left hand several years ago, and [it] has always been lagging in grip strength. The Left-Hand gripper in T and 1 have really helped.

- M., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn Trainer (100 lb.) is not a placebo. I was giving myself tendinitis by squeezing the right-handed [CoC} Trainer in my left hand for high reps. I haven’t had it since switching.

- W. B., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn 1 (140 lb.): Superb product!!!

- T. M., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn 1 (140 lb.): GR8-L™ springs: precise, durable, good-looking! [This is the] first time I trained with an IronMind Left-Turn gripper. The knurling on the handles is tenacious, velvety.

- M., via Amazon.com

»

The Left-Turn Trainer (100 lb.) is great for small hands, a perfect complement to my righty [CoC] Trainer. I love it. I have pretty small hands, and I can get the righty CoC Trainer for a good 10+ reps with my right hand, but only like 4–6 with my left. And sure enough, I can get 10 good reps on the Left-Turn with my left and begin to fade after about 6 with my right. If you’ve got small hands like I do and it’s difficult to set the gripper, these are a big help. This lefty gripper showed me my left hand isn't as weak as I thought it was.

- K., via Amazon.com

The Left-Turn Trainer (100 lb.) is awesome. Great product, can’t wait to reach the 4.

- D. M., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn Trainer (100 lb.): perfect even if a little strong.

- M., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn 2 (195 lb.): very good quality grippers. The difficulty of these grippers is increased when you try to close it with your right hand, e.g., my Left-Turn 3 feels just a little weaker than my CoC 3.5 gripper.

- W., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn 3 (280 lb.): Good gripper, makes a difference for your left hand efforts.

- A. J., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn 2 (195 lb.): Ingenious! Love the look and feel of the black finish. I definitely underestimated how much easier it is to close a gripper with my left hand that is actually oriented for left hand gripping! It’s also a great tool for getting a more accurate idea of how strong your left is vs. your right, assuming you’re using the same strength level with both.

- B. R., via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn Trainer (100 lb.) Good helper for the left hand.

- via Amazon.com

»

My left hand felt awkward using the normal gripper, definitely weaker. Using the Left-Turn at the Trainer level helped to strengthen my left hand, [which] has quickly caught up to my right, and I can use either gripper just fine. I plan to use this as my left-hand warm-up as I progress past the Captains of Crush No. 1.5 gripper. I switch the Left-Turn off in my right hand now and then for the different way in which it closes.

- via Amazon.com

»

Left-Turn 1 (140lb.): finally grippers designed for lefties! These grippers are awesome. For the record, this product may be a placebo-effect product, which the company is open and honest about. Do you actually NEED grippers designed specifically for your left hand? Probably not. But if you're going to buy a pair of them anyway, why not? If you’re just starting to develop your grip strength, get the 100 lb. Trainer grippers. I let my ego dictate the purchase and I started with 140 lb. I can use them but it takes everything I've got.

De Rigueur Dipping Belt

»

I’ve been using a chain nylon dip belt hooked on two D-rings for years, and recently the D-rings and chain started creaking with 110 lb. and made me nervous. Now, I’m using the De Rigueur Dipping Belt, which I have tried with 155 lb. and the belt felt firm and steady. It gives me absolute confidence . . . use a loading pin system.

- via Amazon.com

»

Perfect.

- P., via Amazon.com

»

Beast of a belt: used for almost 10 years now and still functions like brand new. Very comfortable. The most I put on was three 45’s without issues, no doubt it can hold more. Highly recommend webbing over chain.

- T. Y., via Amazon.com

»

The Cadillac of dipping belts: expensive but excellent. I use the De Rigueur Dipping Belt for belt squats with a loading pin, in addition to dips and pullups. Have had 300 lb. on the belt squat and it remained perfectly comfortable. Other brands typically dig into my thighs or hips and leave bruises or cuts, but not this one. It works much better using a loading pin or daisy chain to hold the weights.

- D., via Amazon.com

»

Amazing, the De Rigueur Dipping Belt is definitely what the description says: high quality build, will last for a VERY long time, and I like the method of not using chains. Highly recommend this fantastic accessory.

- J. O., via Amazon.com

»

Great purchase!

- M. K., via Amazon.com

»

Fantastic belt, wonderful quality. I put off getting the De Rigueur Dipping Belt for a long time because I was finding it hard to justify the price. After using it, it’s obvious that as long as I take care not to fray the strap, it will last forever; it feels extremely solid. To those wondering about the strap fraying, yes, it is possible but also entirely avoidable by using a loading pin and carabiner, which I would recommend. This setup also makes it super easy to load and unload the weight. As an ectomorph without much in the way of hips. I haven’t had any problem with this belt staying in place while doing dips or pull-ups.

- S., via Amazon.com

»

Very comfortable, easy to wear, adjust and use, appears very strong. Easily manages the mass I’m adding to it for pull/chin ups, dips and squats.

- via Amazon.com

»

A dip belt is the most important piece of upper-body training equipment one can buy, but brand matters. The IronMind belt is simple and incredibly effective. There is no chance of it breaking with any rational amount of weight for dips and pull-ups and is leagues more comfortable than the leather and chain belts, which are prone to breaking anyway. The price is high but it will last and last and is most effective for people into serious upper-body strength gains.

- B., via Amazon.com

»

Love it! The university gym I use has one or two dip/chin belts that are shared and usually impossible to find or have available. I wanted a reliable dip/chin belt that I could easily loop through KB’s or plates, with plenty of strap to avoid dinging myself in the swing-easy, comfortable around the hips when the load was heavy, and light enough to stuff in a small bag that would fit in a tiny locker. The De Rigueur Dipping Belt does that and more. It’s awesome, it’s tough, it’s ridiculously light and soft compared to the typical, cheap leather-and-chain models. And it’s IronMind.

- D., via Amazon.com

»

The De Rigueur Dipping Belt is really sturdy; it is light (1-2 pounds), but the construction and feel of it convince me that it could really hold 1,000 pounds. The belt conforms well, is padded in the back, and is not at all uncomfortable to wear. Loading plates takes a little effort if you don't have a loading pin. Overall, a very good and solidly made product and I would certainly buy from IronMind again.

- P. G., via Amazon.com

»

Excellent choice, worth the extra cost. I’ve used dip belts from several other brands and they have been uncomfortable and poorly made. Several have broken with less than 50 lb. on them. I spent two months looking at reviews, going over products, determined to find something that would be safe, well-built, and last a long time. The best choice out there is the De Rigueur Dipping Belt from IronMind, and the first time you use it you understand why. . . . I love the fact that you can use a loading pin and carabiner, and this works extremely well for dips, pullups, and calf raises. I actually felt comfortable enough to go up in weight considerably on both my dips and weighted pulls which is something that had been lacking for some time and there was no pinch or chafe from this belt, just a great piece of equipment. Overall I am a bit of a penny pincher so for me to throw down this much on a dip belt and leave a positive review it has to be pretty amazing: I am 100% satisfied with this product. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality product that will last for years and provide great utility in multiple lifts. Considering how much the mental aspect of lifting controls the physical, the IronMind dip belt is completely worth it and not have to worry about any kind of equipment failure ever again.

- I., via Amazon.com

»

I wanted something that could hold 100+ lb. The De Rigueur Dip Belt had the best reviews. It fits comfortably and is easy to slide the weights onto the blue strap. Folds up easily and is very lightweight. I could see it being good for traveling.

- S. T., via Amazon.com

»

Best dip belt ever. SUPER comfortable, even with 100+ lb., and VERY durable. Gym buddies are borrowing this constantly.

- E. A., via Amazon.com

»

The most comfortable dipping belt on the market! I wear it when doing circuit training routines and when I get to chins or dips, I just clip the belt to a loading pin and I am all set. When my training (circuit) is done, often times I don’t even realize that I am still wearing the belt: it is that comfortable.

I’m really impressed with the build quality of both the Captains of Crush grippers and the Expand-Your-Hand Bands. I gave one set of bands to my wife and one for me for use at work to get the blood flowing when working in front of the computer. Our hands feel less stiff and overall healthier. The CoC Trainer is great for people to start with.

- L. Z., Amazon.com, USA

»

[Ref. Captains of Crush grippers] A stronger grip is a great thing. It helps with all lifting, means you’ll never get your handshake crushed by obnoxious 1980s businessmen, and makes your forearms all vascular. I’m working my way up the CoC ladder, these [grippers] are seriously tough. I love the Expand-Your-Hand Bands too—a great way to balance out the movements. These feel like they’ve helped my carpal tunnel and tendinitis symptoms. I spend a lot of time on the computer or playing music and having healthier hands is a huge plus.
All in all, highly recommended!

Captains of Crush gripper is perfect, Expand-Your-Hand Bands are perfect: no complaints, the products work exactly as intended and was shipped in perfect condition. I was surprised at the difficulty of the CoC Trainer gripper so I would agree with CoC's recommendation to not underestimate the grippers.

Thirty eight years of swinging a hammer for a living, mid-fifties now, hands hurt and all, but I could still barely touch the handles on the 100-lb. Captains of Crush Trainer which is good. More interesting are the Expand-Your-Hands Bands, a good stretch in the opposite direction of what my hands and fingers are used to doing all day every day. I immediately noticed an improvement in both pain relief and function.

- T. S., Amazon.com, USA

[Ref. Captains of Crush grippers] Wow I’m impressed! I thought I would consider myself above average with stuff like this and was worried that this might be too easy. I was pleasantly surprised and happy that I was very wrong about that! Highly recommended A+++.

The Expand-Your-Hand Bands are nice because they are less conspicuous than the metal [Captains of Crush] gripper. Both items appear to be high-quality and I agree that some WD-40 or likewise alleviates the squeak from the spring.

I loved the [Captains of Crush Trainer and Expand-Your-Hand Bands] package and the overall quality of the products. The CoC gripper feels incredibly sturdy and well made. 15” Olympic Loading Pin

[Ref. IronMind 15” Olympic Loading Pin] Typical IronMind quality. Expensive for a loading pin but will last a lifetime (I have another I’ve had for 20 years).

- M.G., via Amazon.com, USA

I bought the IronMind 15” Olympic Loading Pin to make my own lat/tricep pulley machine to attach to my squat rack. It is an extremely solid and well-made loading pin that comes with an American made Omega Pacific carabiner that attaches to the top eye hook. People trust their lives with these carabiners while mountain climbing. The fact that this company includes an Omega Pacific carabiner with their product as opposed to some cheaply made Chinese carabiner speaks for itself.

IMTUG

»

[Ref. IMTUG1] I needed to increase my strength between my thumb and index finger in order to be able to grip and rack the slide of my brand spanking new 1911 pistol: the slide was so stiff that it took two men and a boy to rack it out of the box. In short order, just doing lots of reps with the low-tension spring helped me increase my grip so I could do what I wanted to. It’s perfect for beginners or people who need to increase their grip “just enough.”

- N.F., via Amazon.com, USA

»

Ref. IMTUG1 (very easy): Every item sold by Iron Mind is the absolute best. These guys are deadly serious when it comes to harnessing the power of mind and body. Order the book “Mastery of Hand Strength” by John Brookfield and you will understand. If you’re willing to dedicate the necessary time and effort, you will be rewarded with the increased strength, stamina, and self-confidence of an individual who has transitioned from a “weekend warrior” hobby of exercise to a lifestyle of disciplined training. It is so cool to feel and see the progress as you continue to train. It will give you a “spring in your step,” and you will find that you hold your head a little higher and carry yourself with a confidence that evokes respect from those you encounter. These guys are in a class of their own - “Old School” all the way!!!

- V. M., via Amazon.com, USA

»

The IMTUGs definitely make your fingers stronger and they do it very quickly. I own the IMTUG3 through IMTUG6. IMTUG3 is good for warming up and working your thumb. IMTUG4 is useful for making ring and pinky stronger, and it’s what helped me become strong enough to ring and pinky the IMTUG5. The knurling on the IMTUGs seem sharper than the Captains of Crush knurling. You get used to it. I believe the IMTUGs helped me get to where I am now (CoC No. 2.5).

- J. J., via Amazon.com, USA

»

[The IMTUG} is one of many offered by [IronMind], truly the gold standard of finger grip tools. Many sizes are available, and the IMTUG is well made and does not lose tension over time as many cheaper products do. First-rate product and first-rate customer service. A must have tool for anyone serious about improving finger strength.

- F., via Amazon.com, USA

»

I have used numerous IronMind grippers to help rehab my right hand. I injured it while punching a wall like an immature dummy in my youth. The IMTUG5 has greatly increased the muscles in my hand and returned my grip strength. I can't recommend these products enough for physical therapy or for attaining greater strength in your hands. It will also help stave off arthritis in your hands as you age. Super product.

- B. W., via Amazon.com, USA

»

Hand grippers and finger grippers are fantastic to use. If you’re into bodybuilding and/or power-lifting, don’t hesitate to go for the IMTUG7 immediately. If you’re already bench pressing, curling, deadlifting, and performing shoulder presses with a lot of weight, it’s important to think harder, not easier. Practicing with the IMTUG7 might even help give you a stronger grip, leading to your fingers assisting you when your upper forearms get tired towards the end of a lift.

- J. F., via Amazon.com, USA

»

I bought 4 IMTUGs, levels 4, 5, 6 and 7. I was skeptical because they are smaller than the big grippers and didn’t know how effective they would be. My brother-in-law and I have been grip training since February, and these are a MUST-have if you are trying to improve grip strength; they will help for sure.

- A. L., via Amazon.com, USA

»

Though I include forearm and grip strength training, I’m generally not a fan of grippers. The IMTUG shorter version, designed to target fingers and thumbs is an incredibly effective, extremely well-made piece of equipment. I ordered the IMTUG4, recommended of 7 strengths, and certainly will purchase more.

- F. C., via Amazon.com

»

[The IMTUG4, 5 are a] great complement to using Captains of Crush grippers. I can almost close a CoC No. 2, but as soon as I use the [IMTUGs] on my pinkie and ring finger I can’t budge them and it’s more a coordination thing than strength. I reckon I need to go much lighter. I literally cannot budge the suckers I own.

After about a month of using the IronMind Green EGG, I went from 95 lb. grip to 111 lb. in both hands, I use this in tandem with my gyroscope exerciser.

I’m a gripaholic, and I own just about everything IronMind. I close the CoC No. 2 now and whenever I do my challenge set, you know, closing that next gripper or going for a 1-RM on the IronMind Hub, your forearms need to wind down immediately with something easy to close the full range of motion. That’s where I use the IronMind Green EGG every time. A little baby powder stops any tackiness in its tracks. I own both Green and Blue EGGS, but Blue is stiff and good for warming up and Green for both warm-up and cooldown and I use it 4 times as often as the Blue.

My son liked my IronMind Green EGG so much that he kept stealing it, so I got him his own for his birthday. This is hands down one of the best grip tools I have, a solid piece. Combined with my IronMind grippers, I am crushing it! I also have the Blue EGG, and while the Green says it is soft, it is still a great exercise tool, not too soft . . . and if you think it is, then buy the Blue one!

The IronMind Green EGG is perfect for strengthening hands, either to raise grip strength or to aid in recovery post hand injury. I used mine to work my grip strength back up after some significant arm surgeries, and it worked a lot better than any of the other stress ball style trainers. It really feels well made, and it includes washing instructions, which I was thankful for.

The IronMind Green EGG is awesome quality and if looked after, should last a lifetime. I play with grip sport and am between an IronMind CoC No. 2.5 and a No. 3 Gripper. My hands are pretty darn strong. If I only had one grip implement to use I think it’d be the Green EGG. Grippers are quite hard on the hands and some people get injured when using them (normally incorrectly). Because the EGG doesn’t push back like a gripper does I think it’s a very safe piece of gear to be used at any age. You’ll never regret having a strong grip and the IronMind EGG is a safe and painless way to develop one.

IronMind Blue EGG

»

I kept the IronMind Blue EGG in my wish list for too long--it is worth the price. The firmness is perfect. Already after a few weeks, I can feel my grip is stronger. Do every other day or so for best results; stop when your grip starts feeling weak. I will definitely get another when this one deteriorates.

Must have item on your Captains of Crush (CoC) journey. Started with the CoC No. 1 only, nothing to warm up with: BIG mistake! Enter the IronMind Blue EGG for warming up first and immediately afterwards to soothe aching tendons. The EGG can take a full squeeze and you can train fingers individually too. Reverse direction to work pinky more or flip it and index gets the bigger workout. Makes enough difference—don’t go down the CoC road without this tool. P.S. I have the IronMind Green EGG too, much softer and better for fuller range of motion, so try BOTH!

I got the IronMind Blue EGG after watching a YouTube video of Chris Sajnog, retired Navy SEAL, about the IronMind Green Egg to improve your grip with pistol shooting pistol. I’ve used the Blue EGG about a month and it works. I can tell my grip is still relaxed yet stronger with each trigger pull, and my grouping has reduced as well. With deadlifts and shrugs I use straps much less now. I usually use the EGG while hiking or driving. Get it, it works.

I have had stress balls before, and they were okay. But [the IronMind Blue EGG] is great—the shape is perfect for the hand, and it doesn’t exhaust the muscles like the round or the balloon kind . . . this is awesome.

From the way people described the IronMind Blue EGG, I was anticipating a glorified stress ball. I can close the CoC No. 1.5 pretty easily and close to closing the No. 2, and I can't come close to squishing the Blue EGG flat: it gives more resistance the harder you squeeze. Squeeze lightly for rehab, slightly harder to warm up, or really squeeze it to build your grip strength. It’s incredibly soft on the hands. I will bring this thing with me wherever I go. I can’t recommend it enough.

[Ref. IronMind Blue EGG] Perfect for helping a recovering arm get its strength back and get stronger than ever. Perfect for the size of my hands and not too firm to cause discomfort while gripping for extended periods. Will be carrying it everywhere. The relief is unmatched.

[Ref. IronMind Blue EGG] Great for warm-up before using CoC grippers. would recommend if you are between a CoC No. 1 and No. 2. I enjoy warming up with the EGG and then the IMTUG and finish off with the CoC grippers. If you want to skip the IMTUG at least have the Blue EGG since it gets the pinkie and ring fingers just as well as an IMTUG2 or 3.

The [One Wicked Wrist Roller] is probably the best wrist roller I’ve ever used. The quality is top notch. It has a knurled metal grip. It will last forever. I'm very happy I decided to get this, and you will to.

Twist Yo’ Wrist

»

[Ref. Twist Yo’ Wrist] A wrist and finger killer, I love it! Awesome grip texture, strong rope, built to last and cause aches for years.

- B. S., via Amazon.com

»

I thought [the Twist Yo’ Wrist] was knurled metal similar to a barbell or dumbbell, but I was surprisingly satisfied that it was a plastic material (metal in that shape and size would be a chunk to hold by itself and a detriment to the exercise it is purposely built for). Absolutely awesome product because it trains a part that I was leaving out with no good way to train it otherwise.

- W. C., via Amazon.com

»

I love [the Twist Yo’ Wrist]. Start light with high reps first because the added weight can really stress your fingers. You will feel the aches from overloading your fingers [if you use] the heavy weight that you are used to doing for your wrists/forearms, so drop the dumb ego and be smart for your fingers.

- A., via Amazon.com

»

[Ref. Twist Yo’ Wrist] Excellent. 10 lb. was actually enough to get in a basic workout; this works your hands in ways that nothing else will. The rope seems very durable, but it’s replaceable. You have to hold your elbows in tight to get the perfect side to side motion. If you do the same exercise with wrists bent at 90, you are working a whole new set of muscles. Between CoC grippers and the Twist Yo’ Wrist, I am confident my hands will get stronger. Functionally it seems fine and durable, made of plastic but heavy and feels solid. The outer rim is scored nicely to dig into your fingers and hand.

I have been working on a lot of grip strength lately and I am always looking for new ways to work my hands, wrists and forearms. The Twist Yo’ Wrist adds an interesting dimension to grip training, that I haven't been able to duplicate with other exercises. The product is made just right and does not slip out of my hands. I find that using 10-15 lb. and keeping my elbows tight to my body gets the job done. Good stuff.

- G. W., via Amazon.com

The Twist Yo’ Wrist is plastic, has good texture, and functions well. With use on cable machine or free weight, no slip-out-of-hand feeling. The diamond print is holding right in fingers and hand for exercise use.

Most forearm strengtheners focus on palms down work, while the Twist Yo’ Wrist is great to cover palms facing work. When you try both, you can feel different muscles working. Closes that gap in your grip strength game.

I was looking for something a little different to spice up my forearm workouts and I came across this little gem [Twist Yo’ Wrist]. This thing destroyed (in a good way) my fingers and wrists the first few times I used it. Every once in a while my wrists would give me trouble during dips or push-ups but since I’ve been using the Twist Yo’ Wrist, I have had no problems. Build quality looks good, and I haven't noticed any wear over the last few months. Hugely recommend it for anyone who climbs.

I've had [the Twist Yo’ Wrist] for 7 years and use it on weekdays while standing at my desk doing meetings/conference calls. Your forearms will benefit most from this by having a consistent training plan in mind with a variety of forearm exercises.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply: it's very helpful and kind of you to do so. I'll have a good read with those IronMind [gripper training] booklets when I get home later.

I regularly check the IronMind website and am continually inspired by the IronMind News [about] athletes from all over the world. I enjoyed the Gripsport Latino Podcast featuring [Randall Strossen] that was recently posted. I have only met you in person once, and I had no idea then that [you] would be such an influential and encouraging person in my life . . . also for “older garage gym athletes.” Have read your books (SUPER SQUATS, Mastery of Hand Strength [by John Brookfield], etc.). I may have bought them with a specific goal . . . but the most important part seems to be the journey getting there and its unexpected but more beneficial lessons!

I appreciate the quick and thorough response [to my training questions], especially the details about limiting the holds to 10 seconds and where to set the bar height. . . . And thanks for the reminder about extensor work. I have the Expand-Your-Hand Bands but have been definitely neglecting them. I'll re-incorporate them. I look forward to getting stronger!
