World Strongman Fest 2011

The Ukrainian Federation of Strength Athletes and Tug of War is presenting the World Strongman Fest 2011 in Poltava City, Ukraine—featuring two days of events that will bring together a Giants Live strongman competition, the World’s Strongest Lady contest and a dual matchup in the 105-kg strongman class pitting Team Ukraine against Team USA.

UFSA's Olena Kiba gave IronMind the details for each of the three competitions that make up the World Strongman Fest.

I. Giants Live

Events:

1.  Truck pull (ladder)
2.  Conan's Wheel 
3.  Dumbbell (95 kg)
4.  Timber Walk (350 kg)
5.  Manhood Stone or 200 or 238kg) 
6.  Squat (370kg)

Competitors:

1.   Truck Pull 8-10 mt 25 m (for time)    
2.   Farmer’s Walk 2x80kg 25+25 m (for time)
3.   Yoke 230-250 kg 25 m (for time)
4.   Pole push 1x1
5.   Apollon's Axle  70 kg for reps (1 minute) 
6.   Hercules Pillars (Hercules hold)  approx 100 kg per hand
7.   Manhood Stone 120 kg or 90 kg for reps in 60 sec
8.   Squat 220  kg for reps (60 sec)

3.  Sudan Walk (900 kg 40m, 4 athletes)   
4.  Log Lift (3 athletes, 300 kg/reps, 60 sec)  
5.  Tug of War (4 athletes x 4 meters)  
6.  Manhood Stone (4 athletes, 170 kg, 125 cm) 
7.  Squat (3 athletes, 320 kg, 60 sec each)
