Vitautas Lalas finished with 57 points, followed by Laurence Shahlaei at 56.6 points and Ervin Katona at 52.5 points.
“The fifth stage of the SCL was again a successful competition,” said SCL cofounder Marcel Mostert. “It was a tough competition, with 35-degree (C) temperatures inside—there is no air conditioning in Finland!
“Ervin Katona keeps the orange T-shirt,” said Mostert, referring to the what marks the overall leader of the season, “and the SCL continues next week in Holland.”
“Nice events,” said Jyrki Rantanen, “with quite a nice level in the deadlift and 187.5 kg on the log is not something we see too often in Finland.”
