As a 19-year old, Nikita Krivosheev certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper, the youngest Russian to achieve this distinction, and after taking a layoff, he has returned with a vengeance—and has just now been certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3.5 gripper.
Now 26, Nikita Krivosheev lives in Moscow and he told IronMind that he was able to close the Captains of Crush No. 2 gripper the first time he tried it. “From early childhood, I liked to squeeze grippers and was very happy when l learned there are really tough grippers.”
In one year of returning to gripper training, Nikita told IronMind that he was able to close the Captains of Crush No. 3.5 gripper, but suffered from a minor finger injury. Following therapy, he returned stronger than ever.
“I want to express my special gratitude to my friend Vitaly Titov, as well as to all the others who helpd me in the process of preparing for the Captains of Crush No. 3.5 [gripper],” Nikita told IronMind.
Many thanks to Bear Grip’s Egor Meshkov for his extensive assistance and for serving as the referee on Nikita Krivosheev’s official attempt to close a Captains of Crush (CoC) No. 3.5 gripper, which, and to Nikita, we say, “Congratulations and you have just been certified on the CoC No. 3.5 gripper! Excellent to have you back and is the CoC No. 4 next on your to-crush list?!”
Incidentally, Nikita Krivosheev remains Russia’s only Teenage Captains of Crush and a part of the Jesse Marunde legacy, another feather in his cap.
