Congratulations to Marko Partanen (Finland), who walked through the Crushed-To-Dust Challenge in an impromptu display of excellent all-around grip strength.
Top international grip strength competitor Alexey Tyukalov, CoC3 ’12 (whose credits in the grip strength world also include world records on Rolling Thunder Pull-ups, the CoC Silver Bullet Hold and the Rolling Thunder One-Arm Deadlift) reported:
“Hello Randall,
I hope you are happy & healthy and going strong! This weekend 16-17 October I was in Lahti, Finland at annual Fitness Expo Nordic Pro. I had a small armlifting event with demonstration and trying out IronMind equipment. Several people tried and had good tests but only one managed to certificate crush to dust. Here are photo and information sheet.”
The Crushed-To-Dust Challenge was launched in 2012 as a fun way to test and demonstrate an all-around superior grip by closing a Captains of No. 2 gripper, lifting 90 kg on the Rolling Thunder and 20 kg on the IronMind Hub.
After walking through the Crushed-To-Dust Challenge, Marko, who is not a grip strength specialist, told IronMind, “Perhaps I’ll add some grip training to my workouts from now on.”
Congratulations to Marko Partanen, who has been certified on the Crushed-To-Dust Challenge.
