Ivan Myskovets (Ukraine) has been certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper—one of the most widely recognized accomplishments in the strength world.

“At the age of 11 I started training as a basketball player,” Myskovets told IronMind. “At the age of 18, I participated World Youth Basketball Championship in China but], due to bad luck, I had knee injury and as a result, [needed] surgery to fix knee issue, so I had to call off my basketball career. 

“Later, at the age of 20, I became more physically and mentally prepared for strength sports: Strongman, Powerlifting, Grip Sport, some throwing events from Highland Games, and I must admit these sport activities absorbed me fully. 

"Armlifting gave me and is still giving me the boost and motivation to strengthen my grip for strength sports. I do hope to pass official certification on #3.5 gripper under official rules in order to cement my current accomplishments in grip strength which, for sure, is handy for many sports activities and hands health,” said Myskovets.
