If you've got a grip, come grab some cash at the first annual IronMind® St. Louis Steel Fingers Challenge.
On July 18th and 20th, Jim Davis Productions, Inc. is hosting the US National Strongman Championships to determine who represents the US at this year's World's Strongest Man show.
The first day's events will be held at Westport's Party at the Plaza in St. Louis, and the second day's events will be held at Harrah's St. Louis Casino & Hotel.
As part of the festivities, the IronMind Steel Fingers Challenge will feature two popular tests of grip strength, using the IronMind Blockbuster Pinch Grip Block® on July 17th at Bandana's Barbecue in St. Ann, and the Rolling Thunder® on July 19th at Brewskeez Sports Bar in Florissant.
Cash prizes each night will be $350 for first place, $250 for second place and $150 for third place. Points will also be given to the top three finishers each night, and the person with the highest total after the two events will also win a $100 IronMind® gift certificate. Anyone can enter the grip competition with a minimum donation of $5 to the Children's Miracle Network, which will also receive all the proceeds from the US National Strongman Championships.
