IFSA Finland's Strongest Man

With a starting field of 38 competitors, only eight went on to the finals of this weekend's IFSA Finland's Strongest man.

Not surprisingly, defending "World Strongest Man" winner Janne Virtanen led the pack of qualifiers, with 105.5 points, but the competition for the top spots going into the finals was very close. In second place among the qualifiers was Juha Rasanen, who ended the first day with 104.5 points; third place was Pasi Paavisto, 103.5 point, and fourth place was Harri Simonen, with 102 points.

The other finalists were Kalle Laaksonen, Matti Uppa, Tuomas Turunen and Sami Heinonen.
