Run in between events at the IFSA World Musclepower Championship, a team event between Finland and Great Britain was won by Finland, twelve points to four. Representing Finland were Pasi Paavisto, Matti Uppa, Marko Patteri, Jorma Paanenen and Jyrki Rantanen.
