Dione Wessels Signs for 105-kg America’s Strongest Man®

Saying she, “just signed an agreement for the 105-kg America's Strongest Man®,” North American Strongman/American Strongman Corporation president Dione Wessels told IronMind®, “the 105s are amazing athletes.
“One of the 105-kg athletes, Paul Vaillancourt, advanced to the finals at the Amateur World Championships this year at the Arnold Classic, so I am excited to see what talent comes out this year. We are excited to pair them with a bigger venue and event,” said Wessels.
“The 2010 105-kg America’s Strongest Man® will be featured at the International Sports Spectacular (ISS) in Detroit, Michigan at the Cobo Conference & Exhibition Center. The event will showcase the best ASC lightweight professional strongman competitors with the top three lightweight pro athletes advancing to the Amateur Strongman World Championship at the Arnold Sports Festival in 2011,” explained the official press release.
“The ISS festival will also feature a North American Strongman heavyweight open amateur event. The event will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 17-18, 2010. Promoters anticipate 50,000 spectators viewing over 1,000 athletes. More information will be posted soon at ISS and ASC websites.
