He’s been training on Captains of Crush (CoC) grippers for about 14 years, and today Daniel Kavamoto (Brazil) has been certified on the CoC No. 3, catapulting himself into an elite club recognized worldwide by gripsters and strength athletes alike.
“My job is to manage construction. My hobby is grip training. At work, I’m busy dismantling buildings, so I carry things with two fingers as much as possible when I carry things.
“The current training content is mainly CoC No. 4 clamps, CoC No. 3.5 mini reps and CoC No. 2.5 39mm block set in trainings two or three times a week.
"When I tried to certify on the CoC No. 3 at the age of 29, I got ulerative colitis and gave up the certifiation. After that, the treatment was completely cured for three and a half years. Training has resumed to this day, and my future goals are CoC No. 3.5 and CoC No. 4 certifications,” said Kavamoto.
Here is a video of Daniel Kavamoto’s official attempt to close a Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper.
Congratulations, Daniel Ferreira Folador Kavamoto: you have been certified on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper!
