TRENCIN, Slovakia - Although still a junior, Mizami Paschaev (AZE) won the 94-kg category today at the European Weightlifting Championships. Paschaev did 177.5/210 for the win, and when he was done, two lifters still had a shot at the gold. Nikola Stojanov (BUL) took the 217.5 he needed to win, but missed the clean, and Hakob Pilosyan (ARM) took 220 for the gold, but missed the jerk.
