TRENCIN, Slovakia - George Asanidze (GEO) turned in a 175/205 performance to win the 85-kg category today at the European Weightlifting Championships. Georgi Gardev (BUL) was second, with 172.5/200, and Serguei Joukov (RUS) was third, with 165/202.5.
