Persistence
Do you know why the postage stamp continues to go up in value? It is one of the few things out there that will stick to one thing until it reaches the end. Very few people set goals. Fewer still develop a plan and take action. And membership is even rarer to that group of individuals who stick and stay the course until they've reached their final destination. I guess that's why old Calvin Coolidge once wrote, "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
