I don't know when the temptation will arise for you to cheat, but if you've been lifting long enough and have set your goals high enough and absolutely refuse to quit, somewhere along the way you might look to those with slightly less stringent standards and consider relaxing yours. DON'T. If the admonition of one New England Transcendentalist wasn't enough, then try another: "The virtues of the strong man are like the wind. The virtues of the common man are like the grass. The grass, when the wind passes over it, bends" (Thoreau).
