Stones, Highland Games: IHGF Comes to Fefor

The International Highland Games Federation (IHGF) is presenting three major competitions this weekend in Fefor, Norway.

2018 IHGF Stones of Strength World Challenge and 2018 IHGF Amateur World Highland Games Championships

“There is unfinished business for me in Fefor, Norway,” said Reynolds. “Last year this competition claimed my right biceps. This year I seek vengeance. I am 100% recovered and have my sights sets on winning this major IHGF stones world title—stonelifting for me is a fantastic and unique challenge, with all the variations from pressing , carrying and lifting. I have trained hard for this competition and I am taking no prisoners: it’s all or nothing.”

This will be an action-packed weekend at the Fefor Hotel in beautiful Vinstra, Norway as the IHGF hosts three competitions:
 
1. IHGF Amateur World Highland Games Championships with competitors:

Women’s events include 48-kg overhead stone press, 22-lb. stone putt, 115-kg Fefor stone carry, stone medley with 60, 70, 80 and 90 kg, and Atlas stones from 90 to 130 kg.
