Odd Haugen: Going For Record...

To help raise funds for the Special Olympics and celebrate his 50th birthday, Odd Haugen is going to try to set an unofficial world record in the yoke. On January 16th, in front of the Gorden Biersch brewery and restaurant in Honolulu, Haugen will see how fast he can cover 30 meters while carrying an approximately 800-pound yoke. His goal is to beat the time of just over 20 seconds established by Svend Karlsen in the finals of the 1999 "World's Strongest Man" TV show.
