Frank DeLuca has proven his prowess as a steel bender, having just been certified on the IronMind Red Nail.
Frank is 41, 5’ 7” tall, weighs 187 pounds and works as “a business analyst for a technology research firm. I enjoy spending time with my family, lifting weights, and training lower arm strength,” he told IronMind.
“I started training my grip in 2010 and eventually learned about steel bending shortly thereafter.
“I like to train three to five times per week usually changing up my routines based on the goal I am trying to attain. I have competed in three North American Grip Sport Contests and plan on competing in more this upcoming year. My goals are to eventually certify on the IronMind No. 3 [Captains of Crush] gripper and then possibly begin training for the IronMind Gold Nail.
“Becoming certified on the IronMind Red Nail has been one my personal goals for a long time and I am thrilled to be on the Red Nail Roster. My referee, Neal Bakerlis was tremendous. He made the process stress free and was extremely professional.
“Big thanks to Neal and IronMind for this amazing experience.”
Congratulations, Frank, and many thanks, Neal!
