Certification: Captains of Crush Grippers and Crushed-To-Dust! Challenge at the LA FitExpo

Certification on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper began in 1991, and quickly established itself as the single most respected accomplishment in the grip strength world—this weekend, at the Los Angeles FitExpo, worthy gripsters will have the chance to add their names to the official Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper certification list, which reads like Who’s Who of the grip strength world.
And if that’s not enough of a challenge, you can also try to close a Captains of Crush No. 3.5 and No. 4 gripper under official conditions; women can square off with a Captains of Crush No. 2 or a No. 2.5 gripper (not yet done by any woman in the world).
The IronMind booth (adjacent to the Odd Haugen Strength Classic, which features strongman, mas wrestling and grip strength competitions) will also offer official attempts to complete the Crushed-To-Dust! Challenge, so here’s your chance to get certified on this test of all-around grip strength excellence.
Close a Captains of Crush No. 2 gripper, lift 45 lb. (20 kg) on the IronMind Hub, and 200 lb. (90 kg) on the Rolling Thunder—that’s the Crushed-To-Dust! Challenge, a benchmark test of all-around strength excellence.
